Glenn David Fresch

Glenn David Fresch is a Research Assistant in the University at Albany’s (SUNY) Geography and Planning Department and an intern for HNTB Corporation.  He earned a B.A. degree in Economics at Drew University in 2001, and is a candidate for a Masters in Regional Planning in the Department of Geography and Planning, University at Albany (SUNY) specializing in Transportation, in December 2011.  His work experience includes a diverse set of railroad jobs.  He interned at the Federal Railroad Administration and worked for CSX as a Yardmaster at Oak Point Yard in Bronx, NY.  His most interesting work experience was at New Jersey Transit Rail Operations, where he trained to be a locomotive engineer and operated trains for seven years over New Jersey Transit’s Hoboken Division, Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, and Metro North’s West of Hudson Lines.
